Great list. That stuntman set really makes me wish I could have played with it as a kid.

Hal Needham just received an honorary Oscar at the Annual Governors Awards in Los Angeles in December and he was at the Academy Awards a couple of weeks ago!

Great list...Never seen the Ghostbusters toys before. My kids love that cartoon on Netflix.

            Hmmmm....

Castle Zendo is awesome. And id it me; or does #1 look like an up-scaled Weebles haunted house?

I wish I'd known about the Hal Needham set when I was little. When I discovered it a few years back, I sent it to my dad and asked him why they'd never gotten it for me. He replied that if they'd known of it, he would have played with it! I now have one and hope to use it someday in displaying western figures.

Wanted: Legends of the West (Empire & Excel) and other western historically-based figures. Send me an offer.
Also interested in figures based on literary characters.

Wow, those are SWEET. A friend of mine had Castle Zendo. Ironically, I believe Arco was an arm of Mattel...notice any resemblance to a major toyline playset?

The Ghostbusters Haunted House is just too cool. I barely remember seeing that line at retail. The "Real" Ghostbusters trounced it. But as much as I liked the Firestation playset, I'd have to say this one looks nicer.

I would've loved to have had that Castle Zendo as a kid. But as an adult collector, the play set is pretty bare bones.

It is bear bones, but a great backdrop for those figures.

That is why I threw this up...maybe some more of these treasures will find their way out of peoples attics.

Castle Zendo is excellent and I've never heard of the line. Thanks for posting the list!

Nice list, being a 70s kid primarily, there were a couple I wasn't aware of. I'd add CB Mchaul's truck stop to the list, I've got one but like you I'm afraid to assemble it.
