Meanwhile....at Sea World

It's been a while since I've had a Mall Appearance submission (l'il help?) so I was happy to find this image of the Justice League of Sea World in my stacks. I never got to see this for myself, so I love getting images like this. I'll never get over the inclusion of Mera into this show, somebody cared.

Remember seeing this as a kid. I went bonkers over this. This and a Bugs Bunny & DC Super Heros in space play I saw the next year. It was a good time to be a kid.

My parents used to take us to Sea World in Aurora, OH. It wasn't that far and was great since we couldn't afford to take a "real" vacation. I remember the second picture you posted...with them in the pyramid...from the Sea World brochure. I also remember being thoroughly ticked off that after seeing this brochure, this was not the water show that they had at Sea World. I never got to see the superheroes water ski, and apparently I'm still bitter about it 30 years later. Thanks for reminding me of this fact. LOL

We went to Sea World Ohio regularly; seeing the Superheroes was my favorite visit.

I recall them announcing Green Lantern as Green Arrow (or maybe vice-verse?). Anyway, I was miffed.

And I agree, including Mera was awesome.

Regarding the Joker's Ohio appearance in the PS gallery: This is not the one I recall.

I seem to remember clown make-up & a bright green curly wig...
