Collegeville/Ben Cooper Halloween Collectors?

Hi all,

Any Collegeville/Ben Cooper Halloween costume collectors out there?

I am thinking of acquiring some of those beauties, as I am a big fan of the Halloween holiday.

Any advice is welcomed for a newbie; pitfalls to avoid, general price ranges to expect, etc.


I certainly had many home-made costumes as a trick-or-treater, but love the nostalgia of those bright, colorful vinyl creations.

I have several, It's hard to find older ones in good shape. I just pick up a vintage super man one yesterday. It came with a black mask, I use to see the ad in old comics when I was a kid. I'll post a pic of it when I get a chance.

Doing just a quick look on ebay the other day, it looks like there is quite a wide range with some fairly inexpensive floating around. Age and condition dependent as always with these things...

Actually I've found more at thrift stores & in the classifieds than ebay but to be honest I hardly look for them on Ebay.

I have a Mandrake with the box. It is for sale or trade.

If you combined the Penguin and the Chatter Mouth, you could created the classic scene where Pengy bites the guy's nose. Kids love it.

I have a few masks, and Cindy has a Wonder Woman Ben Cooper costume in the box. I've been tempted by others, but I haven't bit yet...
