The Top Ten cancelled toys of the 70s/80s

As much as I enjoyed my childhood, it sometimes pains me to think of the stuff we didn't get, for whatever boring grown up decision. Sure, some of these licensed wouldn't have sold and could have forced the companies into risky financial positions but baby Brian wants his toys dammit!
Here are the top ten cancelled toy lines that I personally weep for at every occasion:
Disclaimer: There may be some figure lines not included, this probably intentional as like all of my lists, it's a little biased. I try to be fair.,
10: V LJN planned to make action figures based on the television series V but somehow it stalled and never totally happened.

Why it Hurts It may just be my teenage crush on Jane Badler and her red spandex talking but "V" is just so seriously under-serviced in merchandise, especially when you consider the impact it had.

    9) Galoob The Last Starfighter line In the race to find the next Star Wars Starfighter was probably the closest to the concept (well at least when you look at stuff like Krull or Dune), the movie did good but not great at the box office (which is still a mystery to me) so Galoob chose not to go forward with these beautiful items.

Why it Hurts Not only are the figures nice but Galoob wasn't stingy with the character selection, this movie deserved these toys.

I would have totally collected the Thundarr toys. Remco ones in MOTU scale would have been beyond cool.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I am soooo looking forward to the super7 Alien series. Maybe they will pull out the Thundarr and the Lat Starfighter later on.

The 3.75 inch Thundarr figures would have been awesome. I would have loved those.

I remember the scene in the original 'V' mini series showing that kid playing with the Visitor action figures and thinking it would be cool to have some.

It's funny to think KISS has anything in the top ten for merchandise NOT made. Of course they have sense put out the bendable figures. I should know. I have them!

Its great to see what couldve of been, but sad at the same time. I wonder if U picked these lines up now, would they cost U a lot for the licence, and would there be a market to recreate them. Shame on the "alien" line, "logans run" Ill just go and cry in the corner.

V was THE talk of the school yard when it hit. Had toys been available at the time, Galoob's stock would have went WAY up.

I would have killed for Thundarr toys. As much as I loved He-Man, I didn't like all the knock-offs Remco and others did. I think I would have preferred the 3.75" figures Mego was going for.

Thundarr would have been a no-brainer for me, I loved that show! Gold Key/Whitman was supposed to have issued a comic book of it, released in the final 'three pack bags only' days. And in those pre-internet days it stayed listed in various price guides for years- man, I looked for that everywhere until finally it was de-listed and written off as never having been published.
I did find the thundarr board game a couple years ago though.

Man from Atlantis was another one I would have bought too. A Mr. Schubert figure...priceless!

If it was released today I would buy most of the items in the 10 ten. I'm still holding out hope for a V line. Give us a spaceship!

Anyone know if the Kenner Alien figures are still going to be released? Last SDCC somebody had the original molds and was all set to make them.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.
