    What me plugging?

I'm very proud to announce that the latest issue of Mad Magazine features a l'il blurb about my book Rack Toys.

I was a pretty loyal Mad reader as a kid (only straying to Cracked for those Monster issues) and I'm pretty sure at one point my parents told me I was rotting my brain with it. So it's extremely gratifying (and weird) to see my name in there.

I also want to add that my ten year old stole this issue within the hour....

    Congrats Brian! That's just great.

On another note, while I was still vaguely aware that MAD magazine still existed, the cover you've shown just doesn't look like MAD to me. I know it's the old fart in me, but even w/ today's icons, I think it should still have that classic look. (Maybe it's just this issue?)

    Again, congrats Brian!

Awesome Brian! My son subscribes to MAD, but I haven't flipped through that issue yet, now I have to go find it!

I think it's just this issue. They are copying the style of "Adventure Time" there. Most of the covers are still painted, I believe.

You are blowing up! I luv it. Hopefully the book is selling well....enough to make more.

Luv'd the Canadian adventure as described on GSI. I have to admit I was hoping for an interview.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Yeah, we were supposed to do that but time ran out. It's not a worry, we'll put together something shortly.

My son didn't see it either, he just assumed I bought him an issue of MAD.

That is so cool, your name immortalized in MAD magazine, congrats!

Wow, MAD costs $5.99 now? I remember buying it when it was 75 cents "cheap". I feel old now...

My son got a year's subscription (6 issues, it's bi-monthly now) for $12. So he basically got 4 issues free.

How cool is it you get to be in the same blurb as Jim Henson?
