I have been putting together what i hope to be my last vintage 77-84 loose collection. I say my last cause in the past i have sold it off 2 other times to fund the collection of something else. With the mint loose figures getting harder to come by, it is costing me a lot more than the last time i sold them. I only collect mint perfect examples. I am as picky as it can be. No over paints or paint flecks, they must be as perfect as the day they were opened.
Ok so my question is this. On the original farm boy Luke. The brown hair version. I have picked up 2 mint perfect examples, along with the card backs. One has really dark dark brown hair and the other has a lighter color brown hair. Now looking at some auctions, i am seeing that the dark one is selling much much higher than the light brown hair one is. Is this just weird and perhaps just the ones i am watching are being shill bid? The light brown one barely has any bids, while the dark one is almost over $60 already. Both are in the same minty mint condition as the other. Is this common for the brown hair Luke? And anyone know what they go for mint loose? Any help is appreciated.
