1981 and the world wide phenom known as the Muppet Show was still going strong buoyed mainly by it's second feature film "The Great Muppet Caper" that summer. Fisher Price, was still popping out the merchandise and made several new editions to line including Piggy in her Pigs in Space Uniform.

I've seen Kermit around a bit at sales etc, but you know, I've never seen him with hat, coat, & dickie. He's ALWAYS naked. Why is that?

I think Kermit CAME naked to begin with. I had that same Kermit with the velcro on his hands, and I never knew of any outfits for him. I probably still have him, somewhere...

I'd have went for the "Muppet News" outfit.
