    Battlestar to the moon!

At first glance the Larami L.E.M lander looks more logical, almost in synch with the series. I mean these guys packaged EVERYTHING under the BSG banner save for sewing sets including jets, yes just plain ordinary fighter planes. However, the L.E.M lander is just a repackaged moon landing toy and has absolutely nothing to do with the series. So, the track record is flawless...

Very cool. Never saw that as a kid, but I loved the series. Watched the Lost Warrior episode last night with Ole "Red Eye". Great memories. BTW, nice packaging on that recycled toy.

Mego should have trademarked the circle vignette package design. Every other toy company would have gone out of business in the 70s without it.

I do really like the packaging though.

Actually 1 of the episodes ends with Apollo, Starbuck, Cassieopea, and Sheba leaving the observation pod just before a transmission of the Apollo 11 landing comes through (so they miss it), but that would probably qualify as a cameo appearance.

        CCC.

And nobody at Larami knew or cared.

I remember being in the grocery store with my mom back then and see all sort of stuff from Larami with that packaging on it. If I recall I think the one I remember was a very cheap silver wallet with a cylon ship printed on it or something like that. Even then I remember thinking that the packaging far outweighed the actual product.
            It's all good!
