    Apathetic Spock

I love art like this in old catalogs, here Mr Spock is totally screening his calls but careful not to send the Captain to voicemail...

    The best part...no license needed.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Since this was during the CB craze of the mid 70s, maybe Kirk just asked Spock; "You got your ears on?".

$23.95!?!?! I had no idea these were so expensive back in the day. I used 1975 as the year and put that into an inflation calculator. It came out to $98.73 in today's dollars. Wow!!! No wonder I didn't know anyone who actually owned a set of these. That would have blown a lot of Christmas budgets!

I wonder why Mego never thought of selling them individually as opposed to only in pairs. As far as I know, they all operated on the same frequency and were compatible with each other. That way in a group of buddies, each could have his own instead of having to borrow one from they lucky kid(s) that had the set.

I have set of these along w/ the communications console. They don't work, sadly. I need to get them fixed. Of course it would help if I had someone to use them with!

Ahhhh, it's all science fiction! Who's going to believe that people will be able to call each other over some itty-bitty little portable talking & recieving device? With a goofy little flip type cover? Seriously, would you want to have to carry a telephone with you everywhere? Who would you talk to all day?

Somethings will always remain just fantasy!
