That's exactly how I felt after I bought my replacement Creech. I waited to find one in mint condition and paid a lot of money for it, and I was really excited to get it but when it came in the mail, I opened it and I was like...meh... It looked the same as what I use to have but something about it was just different. It wasn't the one I had...Still glad I got it back but there's something intangible about retaining the exact toy you had all your adventures with.

BTW I have that Star Bird at my parents house and never knew what it was from. I always used it as a Star Wars ship.

These are about the only toys I vividly and fondly remember from my youth. They are also the ones that when I found complete for sale on Greedbay. I get outbid or just don't have the cash they're asking.

I sold my MIB Stretch Armstrong in 2002, I was cleaning house and the $300 I got for him went towards a toy I wanted more. I got him super cheap on the AOL trading post in the 1990s and I'll never own another.

If I had to pick today, it would probably be my 10spd Huffy with the blue jean seat. Too many lost Mego, Hot Wheels, etc. to pick just one. I could still ride the bike.
