That Magnum and his Ferrari are a little high. But, it is one of my favorite 80's toys. -
the last ones have all gone for over $1000 so it's a decent price"Time to nut up or shut up"-Tallahassee

That "Argentina" crap is one my pet peeves. All that stuff was made yesterday.
They try to pass it off as vintage but often use art from DVD releases!Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

$700 is a bit much for a crushed up box like that. It is tough to sell a perfect loose one for over $300. Hope he gets a decent offer.Comment

Is Magnum P.I. popular over there? Why would somebody go through the trouble of making vintage looking toys that would be marginally popular and have a very limited target audience?Comment

That Argentina stuff is all over the place on feeBay: Zorro, Lost in Space, Man from U.N.C.L.E. and similar. Like Brian said, it's often passed off as "vintage" stuff, but is actually cheap bootleg crap made in someone's garage. Not only toys, but trading cards as well. Buyer beware!Comment

In my quest for obscure rack toys for the book, I am forced to endure this guy's forgeries at every search.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

Who knew that the LJN Magnum PI Ferrari and figure would command such a high price today. That's another toy that was sitting around Children's Palace for years. I feel as though I saw it a thousand times...along with the Mego Greatest American Hero VW Bug and figures.
- IanRampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?Comment
