Farrah.... my first crush!
I had the red swimsuit poster hanging on my wall back in the day, amongst others. I still have most of them, but for the life of me I don't know what happened to the red swimsuit Farrah poster. I decided I needed one again so I checked eBay and ended up buying one from the seller you have listed in the first link. I have reason to believe it is a reproduction. I have no proof, just a feeling after examining it in hand. Anyway, my intent was to once again own an original so I chalked the first one up as a loss and continued my hunt. The other day, I came across one on eBay that had remains of yellow aged looking masking tape in the lower corners and a little edge wear. It felt right so I went for it. I'm happy to report that upon it's arrival I took it out of the tube and the first thing I noticed on the back of the poster was that sweet yellow patina of the paper
. Everything looks right on this one so I'm convinced I now have an original!

That's the seller I got mine from, and I'm kind of with Fire Marshal Bill--I'm not so sure it's vintage, no matter what the guy says. I guess it's possible, but looks like it was made yesterday. Not even any dust on the tube. Still, I'd pay that for a repro anyway, so no big deal.Comment

Just wanted to add this pic for anyone looking to purchase a Farrah red swimsuit poster and wants an original. I'm not sure if this is an absolute in determining an original, but it's all I could find online and it seemed confirmed once I had my second poster in hand that i'm pretty sure is authentic. Notice the lower signature (the one I feel is an original), much more defined, darker black, and the tail of the "F" is longer. This longer tail on the signature was the only thing i found online that even mentioned to how to tell a real from a fake Farrah poster. The signature in the upper poster is a lighter, almost grayish color and has vignetting, like it was reproduced from a photo or something (hard to tell in my pic but it's there). Also, just as an FYI, originals are 20x28....... but repros can be too so be careful with that info. Anyway, I hope this may help someone out.

The Suzanne Somers poster kind of eclipsed Farrah for me.

Got this one framed up today. I have no doubt on the authenticity of this one, it spent time hanging on my wall in the 70's!
