    Diecast Big Jim Safari Car

    Hi all,

I've had this car for a many years and would like to know if anyone has any info on it, seen another one before or have a picture of the box? It is 17cm long and nicely made, it's still screwed into its foam display pedestal.

I know that Mebetoys distributed Hot Wheels in Italy, I collect Hot Wheels & a bit of Big Jim so I bought it as a nice cross-over item. I've never displayed it or attempted to discover it's rarity or otherwise though so here you go!

    Thoughts?

    Cheers!

Wow, that's pretty neat, too bad it didn't extend to the PACK series.

        Wow nice job Ant

I searched for days when I first bought that car with no luck, should perhaps have tried again recently lol!

I've had it for perhaps 10 years so I guess a lot has changed since. Good god I sound like my dad.

Hey, I didn't know those even existed! Thanks for sharing, Sowth.

So they slapped a couple of logo decals on existing product and - TA-DA - Big Jim die cast toys. The "resourcefulness" of toy manufacturers nver ceases to amaze me!

I just never know what you are going to pop up with next Will. Looking forward to seeing pics of your collection one fine day.
