Thanks, guys. You give me hope that I might be able to pick up a semi-complete Robin set for under $500 someday.

I admit, I've been trolling eBay for a month or so trying to pick up the basics for an affordable price: suit, mask, boots, gloves, belt & a batarang. That's all I want.

I'll keep looking. Who knows? I might hit a BIN with my number on it!

Believe me... It can and likely will happen for you. But you just have to be patient. A month is no time at all. It takes persistence. And through that persistence you often stumble across a little bit of luck or good will that lands what you want. I imagine within the next six months this will die down and one will pop up while no one is really paying attention. And then you'll have your opening. It always happens that way. No one figure stays hot forever. They all go through phases of being hot and then cooling off. Your interest has just happened to peak with the figure. How did I get mine? Believe it or not, RIGHT HERE. One day someone posted a pic asking what it was. I inquired and eventually we worked out a fair value trade where everyone got something they wanted. It was very cool and I will always treasure it. I even brought it with me to the Cincy Meet. It's so rarely seen in person and I wanted everyone to be able to hold one. Come to the Mego Meet and you can see mine too. Maybe by then, you'll have your own.

MIB41 is correct. i found the Buck Rogers costume, jetpack/harness, boots and gloves for .99 on ebay one day. no one else caught it and it was mine. Deals are there, just be patient and persistent

I just picked up a Captain Action Captain America locally for $2. Deals are out there. That was very rare! Not complete but not anything I expected.
