Popeye spinach is still sold at grocery stores. I'm really surprised there hasn't been a new Popeye animated series or CG movie yet.

Don't they also still make Popeye peppermint sticks? Or as they were called when I was a kid, "candy cigarettes".

And I agree, a remake of some sort is long overdue. Popeye is a timeless classic!

Something told me by the title of the thread that this was going to be Popeye related.

Like most of us here I use to watch Popeye as a kid. I liked Sea Hag.

Remember Alice the Goon? "I LOVE Popeye, I LOVE Popeye".

I wonder if there are any Alice the Goon rack toys in existence?
