The fact we were told in a round about way to GTFO is a real bummer.

I wouldn't loose sleep over it. You got a great score and a contact. The husband was probably just upset that she was in the basement and not outside selling at the rummage sale.

Keep in mind, rejection is part of the game. Just be cordial and do yer thing.
