Dave's got a legendary collection and deep knowledge. I was talking with him tonight and it looks like the Preuvian Jumbos up on eBay right now have reproduction stickers, FYI to npanyone interested. Still very rare and hard to come by toys.

Japanese Kamen Jumbos go for a pretty penny, I can only imagine what their south of the border counter parts sell for when they surface.

Yeah, Jumbo bootlegs were sold in Mexico and several South American countries. They are something else alright. Not really my thing, but they do go for big bucks for the right collectors.

It is kind of neat to think of the journey these things have taken to reach this point... from Japan through perhaps the Shogun Warriors via North America, and then somehow down south from there.

Someone actually went to the trouble of bootlegging a toy of that size... probably no easy thing.
