    Shindana : where it's at

It`s nothing to see multi cultural toys today but Shindana was truly a pioneer. I love finding ads like this.

I have a Rodney Allen Rippy doll from Shindana. Sadly, he no longer talks. But when I was a kid, I dragged mine everywhere.

It's cool to see multi cultural toys. My kids could care less if a figure is white, black, green, purple or translucent! But without toys like those above, we never would have gotten here.

I found a complete Slade figure on evilbay.

Current bid is over $300.00 and counting.

There is also a semi nekkid figure, for much less, but still a lot of moola for a semi nekkid figure.

        There's also a headless figure for $59.95.

That is waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy, over priced for a nekkid headless figure.

I wonder if BBP could pick up the license and make a few modern day Slade figures.

The phrase "Where its at" is soooo 70's. Reminds of the show we have here called 'Like It Is,' a show that started in the late 60's.

Would love a Slade figure but I don't think I'll be willing to part with the funds necessary to make it happen.
