    Halloween in the UK

    \

Lovin' this selection of Party masks I found in a UK toy catalog, I'm assuming those are the Ben Cooper Universal Monsters masks being sold as a set without smocks, the things you learn!

The red Wolfman is kind of freaky. I think the Frankenstein mask is the same one the Monster holds up to his face in The Monster Squad (1987).

The derby hats look like something from A Clockwork Orange. A bit of the ultra vi....

Those Universal masks are the higher end Ben Cooper releases. They have airbrushed color (including a metallic good on the Creature and silver on Frankenstein's Monster) and were sold separate from a costume, typically for 97¢ to $1.39. I good mine here in the States from Lionel Playworld when I was a kid. Cool to see they were distributed across the pond too!
