    That Kid!

Anybody familiar with this doll from late 60's? I picked up a "My Buddy" at Value Village the other day, which got me thinking about the Child's Play horror movies with "Chucky". I had heard that Chucky was based on my buddy, but came across a youtube clip of somebody giving their theroy that he was based on "That Kid" doll.

    That Kid!

Just thought It was kinda interesting, and I had never heard of it before. Anybody?

Nope, never heard of that. I had a Smarty Pants doll, that sorta worked like that. (move the body parts and it talked). I found her in working condition which isn't easy. But I've never heard of That Kid. I bet it was fun to play with.

Well, since Hasbro apparently made "That Kid" and then made "My Buddy", I guess they just kind of revived the same design. Although "My Buddy" is sweet looking while "Kid" looks like a lovable brat.

He does look more like Chucky, complete with red hair.
