    Gramma loves you

I've seen these Gramma and Granpa dolls in many catalogs, so somebody must have bought them. I just don't understand the appeal, not that I have anything aganst grandpeople, far from it but it just seems kind of weird to have a cradle for elderly people.

I guess this is the generic of Mrs. Beasley, and I never got the appeal of her either. When I played house, I wanted to be the mommy, not have a doll be mommy or gramma over me!

And let's not forget the highly sought after variant "Incontinent Gramma" with the first ever "Depends" undergarment.

I don't know why this ad makes my heart hurt. I see kids needing this who don't have loving grandparents, or live too far away to spend time with them.

AND I had the best grandparents in the world. Spent as much time there as I did at home.

The Gramma cradle is something I just noticed, weird.

Gives "From the cradle to the grave" a whole new meaning.
