Maybe this has been discussed...if so I apologize....has there been warehouse finds of the ideal Evil Knievel figures...I saw a couple of auctions that were selling enitire cases of carded figures and now there seems to be an abudunce of them for sale individually...prices are reasonable (at least I think)...I have seen mint, never opened figures go for $25-$35 as buy it now's....OR was this always the going rate for these guys....Just wondering

I thought there was a compnay that reissued 'em a few years back. Maybe that's what you're seeing?

I think some vintage cases were definitely found. I've seen scads of these figure sets (with parka, rescue suit, safari suit, etc.) selling on ebay lately. They used to go for about $75 or so each but there has definitely been a flooding of the market, lately, that has brought the prices way down.

Interesting. Playing Mantis did a reissue in the late 90s, and then the company operating as Ideal reissued them just a few years ago.

Where are these warehouses where such things are found? It always amazes me to think of 40 year old merchandise sitting in a warehouse somewhere...

I wish there was a warehouse find of the stunt cycles too.

I believe the Ideal re-issue was only sold as a boxed set with the Stunt Cycle.

The original molds were used to remake the Stunt Cycle and the Knievel figures themselves (unlike the Playing Mantis ones) are almost identical to the originals.

Had to been a warehouse find. None of the reissues came on a single card only with bikes or stunt sets. Classic TV Toys also has MOC vintage Evel figures for sale.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Wow! Carded figures are selling for as little as $10.00 each. A bunch of completed auctions in the $15.00-$20.00 range.

How long has this been going on?!?

it's been going on for a while, i remember seeing the full cases or lots of 4 for the last few months...they started out super high and since they've been flooding the market they've dropped in prices nasty

which is good for those who waited

I have a few of these sets. They're really great, except the metal parts on the inside are made of plastic and strip w/ extended play, rendering it useless. One of my bikes sit in my closet, sad and broken.
