Well, I got tired of waiting, and I needed something to do today, so here it is.

It is not exactly like the original. I took some elements from other sources, such as the copper roof with the petina. Next is to scale it up.

are there any good sites to get these from? i dont really know how to do it yet, but may play around with it. (especially vintage ones)

I Google Image search. Ericstormtrooper has a lot of Star Wars panels.

I did a small scale test to get an idea of how it will look. I only have a black and white printer at work. There are no steps in front of the door yet, I will make those from scratch for the final version.

I finally finished Ming's Palace Playset graphic clean up and print. I have uploaded some test shots to my Yahoo group. Unfortunately I think they have been tweaking the firewall at work so I cannot upload to photobucket until I get home tonight.

Printed out on 8 sheets of cardstock, to give you an idea of how big it will be.

With the cuts made, held together with scotch tape on the back.

and with a figure for scale. The final version will be applied to posterboard with spray adhesive for extra strength.

According to Hake's Americana & Collectibles who recently sold one for $4,600.00, there are 3 known in unused condition, and a handfull total. The good news is they printed pictures of all of the pages on the website!
