Wow, I remember watching this. SMDM stuff was dirt cheap in the early 90s, still it was no easy task finding some of that stuff in the pre-interweb days.

Actually it was called, "Personal FX". It was very common to see 70s toys on the show.. rarely did a month go by without someone having their Star Wars figures appraised and then bid on.
And of course the show aired in the mid-late 90s when limited modern figures were the rage.. they had people on trying to sell their Star Trek "1701" Picard and Yar.. I still have one of those eps on tape somewhere.
They also had a Trek "supercollector" on one day (this was a remote from the guy's house), and I have that on tape too. I found it a few yrs back and reviewed it for Mego rarities, but nothing jumped out.
Great clip. Too bad he sold off his collection, though. I love my SMDM/BW toys.
