Secondly, why The Shadow? It wasn't like the character had a big presence in the mid seventies, even his DC title had been cancelled by this point. Fortunately, I met a kindly soul who answered some of these mysteries for me. look for a gallery of Shadow Merchandise later in the month.

That is a nice piece, and kind of makes sense, since the Shadow had an auto-gyro (that Batman ripped off).

The packaging is much nicer than most of AHI's Bat offerings as well.

Looking forward to it! The Shadow has always been a character who has intrigued me, and except for the radio show, most of the adaptations have stumbled. There was a sort of brief nostalgia in the 1970s for characters like the Shadow, but it certainly was short-lived.
