1965 GI-JOE ski patrol outfit question

Finaly got a painted head Joe so i can put the ski patrol outfit on, the one with the bear on the top and helmet now i've seen em with tall black boots tall brown boots short black boots and one with short white boots
the photos of unopened one are to small to tell if they came with boots
So did it come with boots and if so what are the correct boots

The boots are a special made version in order to fit the bindings. They are short, stamped Hasbro Japan on the bottom, and have a half-circle cut out at the back of the boot in order for G.I. Joe's feet to slide in easily.

The set was popular and so the boots are pretty common and were also used for the French Resistance Fighter in 1966 so $30 is pretty steep.
