LJN Spiderman Hulk Walkie Talkies???

I am looking for some info on my latest flea market find. They look like walkie talkies and are marked 1978 LJN, but I have not been able to find anything about them on the net. Each one has what looks like a phone jack on the back. Anybody have info about how much they are worth and if they are indeed walkie talkies??
