Happy Days

Heres my Happy Days story.I can laugh now but back in the early to mid 70s when I was around 7 or 8 I had the coolest leather jacket,an offical licensed Fonzie jacket.I was so pround,I loved it.Unfortunately I was overweight and the first day I wore it to school I got a new nickname....FAT FONZIE!!!I can laugh now but I dont remember ever wearing it again.Im not bringing it up for sympathy or anything like that I just wondered if any of you Happy Days collectors out there had ever heard of or saw this?

As a child. I grew up with alot of fellow kids who tried to emulated The Fonz. Never got into it myself. But I can tell you for a long time, Tuesdays from 8-9pm were centered on Happy Days and Lavern and Shirley in my house. It was the only Non Sci-fi/Cartoon that I watched religously. My fanatism leaned more towards the Six Million Dollar Man back in that time period. I became very interested in the state of science and prosthetic limbs.

Happy Days is by far my favorite show. I've seen the official jacket come up on ebay occasionally. I've heard it was cheaply made, but it still does look cool.


Kids can be cruel. Sorry you didn't get to enjoy your jacket.

Thanks. I guess I dont remember it being cheaply made,I do remember the offical tag it had sown into it.

I had one, but I was so young, I don't really recall it. My family members tell me I had it though!
