Brick Mantooth once bowled a perfect 300 game.

This is notable because at the time he was nowhere near a bowling alley, and was in fact on horseback, responsibly conserving energy during the gas crisis.

Anyone remember The Battle of the Network Stars? Brick's idea, baby. Every single one was shot in Brick's backyard (which is vast), using his equipment ('cause nobody's as generous as Brick), and hosted by his very good friend, Howard Cosell.

Brick would also host the Battle of the Network Stars Post-Show Hot Tub Weekend Extravaganza for all the participants, even assisting with the rubdowns, 'cause nobody knows how to relieve sore muscles better than Brick.

The 1980 shows are also noteworthy as Brick's main squeeze at the time, Cathy Lee Crosby, was front and center as ABC team captain, and later co-host with Cosell. Brick still refuses to talk of his break-up with Crosby, for a true gentleman never discusses such things.
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."
