This is the kind of stuff that dreams are made of! Stuff like this is the reason I continue to waste my weekends going to useless garage sale after garage sale. It makes it all worth while when you find scores like this.

When i arrived at this sale their were a few games on the ground from the 70s, I asked her if she had more stuff and she said the basement was full of stuff but she was busy and asked me to come back tomorrow!

I informed her that I had money and I could not come back tomorrow, she said that she did not have the time to pull things out the basement. I persisted, she was sick of the basement being full, I went on to tell her that I can help her clear up some of the clutter and could help her het the ball rolling........she caved!

I have been in this situation before, you just have to persistent in a respectable manner, have fun with it and I guarantee you will hit jackpot, just ask them! I have very lucky this way, I have a room in my house dedicated to toys from Garage Sales, every piece I own their is a story attached to it, some are real good, some are just plain BS luck! I am addicted to thrill of the hunt of Garage Sales, sure their are days I do not find much but when you persist and have fun with it their are rewards

I got a lot of good scores today, but a major upset as well. I got a garage sale bright and early today and see a boxed Nintendo Deluxe Set w/ R.O.B the Robot. I've been collecting NES for over 2 years now and not once have I ever found him and have been wanting him forever. I ask how much, she says $10, I say SOLD and picked it up.

After I leave, I open the heavy box.

No Rob....

No NES Console...


It was a damn Colecovision.
