Vintage 12" GI Joe Cleaning Question

What's the best way to clean up a Joe's face without harming the paint and hair?

Dawn Power Dissolver. It will remove dirt and grime that you thought you had already cleaned. It will not harm the paint on a vintage Joe. Don't try it on a mego head tho.

you can also just try good old soap and water with a qtip to get in the finer areas. i have also used baby wipes to give them a good rub down and it cleans them up pretty nicely

Toothbrush and soap. The paint won't be affected.

After you use the above soap & water with a qtip, then try Dawn Power Dissolver. You will see dirt and grime that soap & water will just not remove. I know, I've done it many times. Those Joe heads will look brand new.

Thanks for the wonderful hint, Bob..

I've still got my 2 dozen figures in the basement, I'll have to get 'em out for their facials..
