    Ahh.. the action figure smell...

I'll never forget smelling my Other World figures right off the card.. Even my Kenner SW figures had the new toy smell. I remember getting 'high' off the smell of the TIE fighter pilot. The AD&D figures smelled heavenly- mainly War Duke. But the Other World figures had the best new toy smell.

Nothing like the smell of petroleum based products. I fell in love with the smell of vinyl as a kid and have not outgrown it.

When I got my Tie Fighter pilot, its smelled like strawberry shortcake.
Seems it must have made a detour at the factory in Hong Kong.

I love the smell of a new doll. Or a vinyl playset. Or a new GIJoe. Yeah...it should be bottled and sold to toy geeks.

Wow, this is the first time I've seen someone comment about the sweet smell of a TIE Fighter Pilot, I thought I was the only one who noticed that! When I bought mine new at the local K-Mart back in 1982, I instantly noticed that smell (none of my other figures ever smelled like that one, before or since), it was addictive

The smell of new toys can instantly bring me back to old times...
