    Restoration Question???

My question relates to old and recent toys. A lot of toys I am finding show play wear and worse. Is there a site or file some where that discusses ways of cleaning up dirty, stained or otherways damaged toy.

I understand in certian cases a patina of age is unescapable. But some of these toys (More the recent ones) I'd like to make presentable without doing irreversable damage.

I often pick up toys that look like they lost a mud wrestling match.
Sometimes, all it takes is a damp cloth and some lukewarm soapy water, and they'll look much much better.
