    Creators of Zorak

This fun little ad is the kind of stuff I love to find, meet Ed and Bonnie Fogarty inventors of 70s childhood friends like the Nerf Glider, Weebles Fun House and Double Trouble Big Jim and Zorak. This ad is from 1978 where they seem to have had a string of items produced, it would be fun to see what else they made during their careers.

Wow...anyone know what happened to them or if they are still involved in the toy industry? Weebles...maybe I should start collecting those...

My daughter loves Weebles. She has the new Treehouse, which is no doubt influenced by the old playhouse. It's cool to see the people behind the scenes.

Do freelance inventors/creators still pitch ideas to toy companies, or is it all in-house now?

I know more than one freelance toy inventor in practice to this day.

It's funny how Mattel (as well as other toy companies) use the same head molds for diffferent dolls. The one on the bottom w/ the bottle, her face was used for Baby That-a-way, and Baby Come Back. And I know what that little baby on the top right is, but I can't remember what she's called. Can you make out the name, Brian?
