I can't believe these survived. I had them packed away carefully in a box with a bunch of wadded up newspaper carefully placed around them. I haven't seen these in over 20 years. I thought i'd unpack them today and assess condition and perform any needed repairs. The only thing i had to do was superglue General Ursus' left arm back on. I still have the box for General Aldo.... thankfully i stored my GI Joe accessories in it. These are so awesome... i'm glad they survived the last 35 years!

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
I'm loving your Aurora glow kits. Fantastic! I have a thing for the Addar models as well. I only have a Zauis and a Zira. Congrats on rediscovering them. Great pics.

While surfing ebay I just happened to stumble upon a 3 piece lot of the Aurora reissues of the Addar apes. It had Zaius, Zira & Cornelius kits still sealed for $10 BIN. Couldn't pass that up.
