whatever happen to the no name brands?

The great cheapo toys that would fill up the Isles, that we could get with pocket change ? stop off at the drug store or the food market .
they don't seem to be around, only in dollar stores, even family dollar pretty much halted it.

Maybe the new toy manafacuring regulations that went into effect about 2 yrs ago had something to do with it. Do Know off count? I see loads of them at dollar shops as well as some small toy stores, and by small i do mean small.
