        She is kinda creepy and kinda cute There is nothing like her and especially in the 70s I must admit the custom Blythe dolls I am seeing on eBay are sad they just dont do anything for me and lose there charm , there charm for me is there hippy hair style and vintage 70s clothing

          Blythe is based on the popular art by Margaret Keane, the big sad eyes "waif" look.
          Very popular in the 60's and 70's.

          As for customs I've grown to like the gothy, punky, mod or j-pop Blythes. But that's just my taste in that vein.

            Iv been reading about her a lot seeing as I was getting one iv never seen this picture before there a lot of stuff written about her and strange to think hardly anyone liked her , iv talked to 2 people only who owned one as a kid ....wish i could find 2 in a charity shop

                  Seeing that they were produced for less than a year(1972) and not many selling, it will be difficult to find any in second hand shops, more so now that collectors have swooped in and snagged them up.

                    Sadly I seen one years ago in a big charity warehouse near us , we used to go an look and i remember seeing one but had no idea what it was that was in 1998 . :(

                    Here is a more close up shot and more professional picture the other ones posted was rushed ..







                    Face and Kenner sheen are still there and her original hair is stunning with no color loss and the hair touches her feet nearly
