I know I had several, but the one I remember the most was Land of the Lost. I also had a Marvel super heroes one, and probably a Dukes of Hazzard as well.

1st Lunchbox was H R Puffinstuff -- ridiculed by the 2nd and 3rd graders. My older brother took pity on me and gave me his old Rat Patrol lunch kit. Dropped the thermos. Last one was the Marvel kit around '74-75. Once again my brother took pity on me and convinced me paper bags were the way to go...Don't be sorry. How would you know? You've been watching MTV all your life.Comment

I remember having two lunch boxes as a kid. One had superheroes from DC Comics and the other had Marvel superheroes.Read my blog at Moongem Comics about comics, toys and more.Comment

I started 1st grade with one of those metal dome lunchboxes, which I want to say was some sort of Peanuts lunchbox, probably Snoopy. I was a huge Snoopy fan (still am, coolest dog in the world). I distinctly remember a 6 Million Dollar Man lunchbox and thermos, and at some point either Batman or Superheroes with Batman somewhere on it prominently. In the end I think I probably brown bagged it more often than carrying the lunchbox though.

I think I'm a little too young to have been part of the tin lunchbox crew...the only one I had was a My Little Pony plastic lunchbox with matching Thermos. I later found a Strawberry Shortcake tin lunchbox in a flea market in Aiken, SC. It had a little rust here and there, my dad helped me clean it up. Still had what I think was the original owner's name, address and phone number on paper overlaid with plastic taped into the lid...in case it got lost! I later sold it on eBay...can't remember for how much though.

I remember a Gunsmoke one (possibly a hand-me-down) and a classic barn-shaped lunch box with a silo thermos. I'm sure there were others.Comment
