Oh, I forgot! I used to also carry around my Drowsy doll and my Rodney Allen Rippy doll. Both talked and I would love to pretend the were my brother/sister.

I have a small Winnie-the-Pooh that I got when I was 2 and took him everywhere until I was about 5. He hangs out on a shelf by my desk at home now. From that point on until 4th grade, I could usually be found with 2-3 Matchbox cars in my pockets. When the Shazam show was on TV I used to take that Mego with me to a lot of places, but for the most part the toys stayed indoors. I never wanted to get them dirty or scratched.
          It's all good!

I had a stuffed dog I named Scrappy. He came along everywhere with me. When time came to go to college in Boston, I brought him along too.

Same thing with my Superpowers Superman and my Ben Cooper Superman jiggler.

I used to drag 3 3/4inch GI Joes to the beach. I always hated sea water, but I liked playing in the sand. (Sand comes off easy. Wet sand, not so much.) Sgt Slaughter was my fave. Second only to Shipwreck which met with an unfortunate accident in grade school before the Sarge joined the ranks.

He-Man was my go to guy, but things rotated when ever I got a new figure I would bring it to sleep with me so I could play with them till I fell asleep. Funny thing about it I ended up getting 3 different Peter Venkmen figures because I lost him behind my bed twice.

I was always bringing my toys everywhere with me, to friends and relatives houses, on vacation trips, etc. A few that I really remember are-

G.I. Joe Bulletman ( I was infatuated with that figure for quite a while when I was 3-5 years old, and I still don't have one in my current collection *sigh*)

12" KISS figures. I was taking these things around with me after I was WAY too old to be doing such things, lol.

Star Wars figures. Used to carry them around everywhere in my generic knock-off vinyl case, and then later in the Darth Vader case.

My toys really were my best friends, I didn't have many friends and no siblings as a child so they were very important and comforting to me and I'd take them with me whenever possible!
