I like that a lot. Don't recall ever seeing it before, but I'm sure I must have at some point. I probably overlooked it on my way to the Star Wars figures.

Like the original poster I saw it in one of the store christmas catalogs (by me it had to have been sears, JC Pneny or service merchandise) and due to the strong resemblance, had always thought (back then) it was from the MAC collection. It was not until I found out on this board it was from another collection entirely

good luck to those looking for this

        That is awesome.

I thought he was speaking of the Aquaman Aquarium

^^^Now that I look at this image of Aquaman more closely, maybe this is what Mattel based its new Retro hero on.

Has a "boyish" quality to him. Doesn't he?

That playset is terrific---if only in a larger scale...

Didn't know of the Aquamanrarium, but as a die-hard fan of the Sea King, I love it!

Thanks for posting that Aquaman Aquarium Austin (say that 3 times fast). I'd never seen that before.

That's one cool playset! I don't think I ever saw that before.

The submersible vehicle with the clear dome kind of reminds me of the Adventure People one I had as a kid.

Did they ever actually make this thing? Does anyone have one? What an amazing playset.

Yes it was made, but Action Jack was not a popular or very well remembered toyline at all. On very rare occasions you will get someone that knows who they are showing up on Ebay by their proper name, but for the most part their existence is usually thrown to those "whatever is in this bin is one dollar" deals

I am sure someone, somewhere might have this full underwater set, but who really knows.

Never say never! Keep looking, set up an auto ebay search to email you if one is listed.

I've found dozen of old toys, and toy sets, from my youth that I just adore. Keep at it.

                      Regards,

that looks like a seriously cool toy, a lot of thought and design went into that, love the way the boat is perched.

Parts Lot for Marx Undersea Playset

I'm not sure what the forum rules are for posting this type of thing, but after an extensive search for any information about this set, the only information I could find was this forum. I knew it was Marx in origin because of the part numbers printed on the two plastic base pieces, but other than that, the set was a mystery. I have posted a partial set on eBay if anyone is interested. Auction # 390368784854 or you can look for auctions by Scaleddown . As an earlier poster mentioned, this set was thrown into a junk parts lot I bought about a year ago. If this type of post violates any forum rules, I apologize and will refrain from posting mentions of eBay auctions in the future.
