There is nothing more entertaining than playing with monsters. These must have been pretty rare, because I have never even seen one in the wild. There weren't many monster playsets made, but this looks like it had great playability. Glow in the dark was an added bonus.

Like seemingly EVERYTHING ever made related to monsters, there are two versions of the packaging (well, three, but I think the third is the box you have pictured with no sticker on it that was used for catalogs, but I don't know for sure). Anyway, all three were issued in full color, thinner cardboard boxes. The graphics are the same.

OMG!!!!! That is so cool! Thank you for taking the pix and showing this off. I never knew such a thing existed. The Evel Knievel motorcycle is one of the best toys ever made (IMO).
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Look what came in the mail today. This is one of the coolest monster toys I have right now. I should have gotten this when it was on the store shelves. (would've been 4 or 5 yrs old)

Isn't it amazing how some of the more unique toys had a great likeness of Glenn Strange as the Frankenstein monster? Yet no one made an actual figure of him until EMCE? Astounding when you think about it.
