Great pic. Was Spidey the only one to do mall appearances? I've seen dozens of Spidey pics, but none (that I can remember) with Supes or Bats?

That's the best mall appearance photo yet!

It seems DC didn't have an aggressive program like Marvel did for personal appearances. When I was in college in the 90s my Mom went to the Walgreens opening in town to get pics of Batman making a personal appearance for me. He was dressed like the animated series version. She even got his "autograph"! My mom was cool.

Now that I think about it----I think that when we had this photo taken it came in a little booklet type holder....and that my mom/us had Spiderman sign it too.....

I'll ask my mom later today and see if she might still have that----if so I'll scan it


I think that my mom also has pics of us at the Houston Autorama one year standing next to the 60's Batmobile...and also next to K.I.T.T.
