The bodies are really really fragile blow mold, but the masks are top notch hard plastic with tons of detail.

Looks like there might be a boots variation also. Mine were silver while your carded one has white boots.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if there were even black boots as pictured on the package. Anyways, I hope this answers some of your questions.

The bearded guy is copied from Mr Action. There are also 2 different versions of arms on 1/6 scale figure. Masks fit on original Maskatron figure.

For some reason I remember a varation of this set with blonde painted hair on the GIJOE KO mask circa 1984. Anyone seen this?
