    capt action batman question

hi i hope some of you guys can help me out with this ,in the last few years ive had maybee 10 or 12 bat suits pass through my hands ,and i noticed that most have a brownish tint ,but i got one recently thats more blueish ,so i checked my bone yard and only found one other damaged blueish suit ,so what im asking is are there variations on the suit material or is it just time and age that causes the difference ,if its a variation which is more common ,and other than the paint on the mouths on the mask ,what if any variations are there for the good captain , cheers and thanks for any light you guys can shed chris

The blue-gray suit is from the first batch of CA Batman figures based on my research. First issue blue-gray suits also had trunks with softer black stripes, and matching capes with white buttons.

Professor that Joker puppet is to die for!

I have a sweet conditon Batsuit I got at a great price. Looks like its the blue verson too! COOL! My only Capt Action piece.

It's too nice to do what I wanted to : display it on a Joe. I havent even tried it on a Capt Action Repro. It looks like it must have been stored all these years flat!!!

I guess I asked a few questions and was scared off by how addictive the originals are. Always was before.

The are teh top of the food chain. I used to dream of ever seeing a Green Hornet in package , Now I want to see a Spiderman.

I really just want a Batbelt for a Joe. That thing is AWESOME looking! I havnt seen one in person but I was looking at an auction and It has LABELS on the Pellets pouches !!

Awesome and educational ! How cool is that! ?

they are addicting Dave. but they were so well done and came with such cool accessories. I am still looking for a Batman belt and cape. My suit is the bluish version as well and it displays just fine on a PM body.

Thanks for those great answers! I have a question too! I had one pair of light blue boots that matched the Batman shorts. These weren't the dirty color normally seen. 1st issue? I have only seen once and have been trying to find a another pair. Any ideas?

Whoa! Lots of questions... The cape with the snaps sounds like someone's mom did some modifications after the bead hole ripped back in the day. There were two types of beads, white and black. White is from the earlier production runs. I have never seen CA Bat boots that are a lighter color. It's possible that it's a variant, but more than likely they were on a figure that spent a lot of time in a swimming pool. The picture above is from a first issue CA, purchased by my mom the day they showed up at the local Woolworth's. She tucked a CA, Supes, Phantom, and Bat-suits away, and I got them for Christmas of '66. Purple Lone Ranger is super rare, as is the purple CA...

Yeah, CA is crazy addictive. Sorry I don't have an extra Supes suit.

As for the details YES the paint jobs are amazing. Theyre more like minatures and models than toys.

The non Licenced stuff is what blows me away. Those great space helmets and survival kits !!
