    My Oldest Favorite Toy...Marx T-Rex

The only surviving Toys from my childhood, were of course my favorite ones. My RC Batman...and My Marx T-Rex. I had all the other Dinosaurs, and the Play Set...but the T-Rex was my favorite. One thing I always liked about him was his resemblance to Gawangi. He doesn't have a date on him because it was on his Tail...and my Dog crewed on it. But with a little trimming with an Exacto Knife...I made it look pretty good.

Cool, I have a few of this very same vintage Marx dinosaur from my childhood and many of his companions in my collection.

You can also find this same mold used today in new dino play sets on sale in some dollar stores, Wal Mart stores or pharmacy toy aisles.

Really? I look for stuff like that all the time, but have never seen any. I still want one in green!

Yeah, I have seen the t-rex, the brontosaurus and a few other old Marx molds used in sets that you can find in Wal Mart, K Mart, and most Rite Aid or Walgreens type pharmacies. The bronto I have seen is usually molded in a brownish or a mixed color, the t-rex is usually in orange.
