      That would be sick!

I haven't bought Star Wars stuff in years - but I really NEED a Vader! (at least!)

Pretty cool. But the bigger question here is what will Lucas and Kenner expect the buyer to extract from their wallets to have these? I have no doubt these will be $50.00 figures...

Not being a SW collector is there really a market for these? I know all about the old 12" figures (used to own some back in the day) but is this something collectors will want? Just wondering. I have to say they are kinda cool. I'm digging the large blister cards.

Over on the SideshowFreaks board, there are many people who grew up with the vintage 3 3/4 inch figures who are drooling over these.

I think they are really cool idea, but as a kid I never liked the little Star Wars figures, having grown up with 12 inch GI Joe I saw the 3 inch figures that the toy market was moving towards as just cheap not to mention poorly sculpted.

But these are kinda cool, from the nostalgia perspective.

If they can sell a Darth Vader Toaster, and lightsaber chopsticks, it says exactly one thing:

Star Wars fans have no taste, and they WILL buy anything.

They should have made them 8" instead!

These are insanely cool. I just wish they weren't being put out as a limited quantity. Now I need to find a quick grand and figure out which wall they're covering.

And OMG. I need to mod the Boba Fett for rocket-firing. HUGE.

I saw the Stormtrooper on it's card, it's just insanely cool, but these will take over your house, they are huge. I gotta have Darth Vader.

We're already trying to narrow down how many and which ones to get.

I agree that smaller may have been better... still, I think I'm going to buy ALL of these.
