Paradise Manufacturing executives decided that making the entire inflatable monster was cost-prohibitive and a limited market.

I would love to see the rest of that catalog. It's kinda cool to think you could have all the B-Movie cheesy props at your disposal to make a movie or photo story.

"Yes kids, you to can be turned into a live action figure with our inflatable hand." Actually if they had used my tag line back then, they should have sold those like crazy.

I'm betting other "great" products like this are directly responsible for the death of this company!

I'm surprised they didn't do a King Kong hand

I'm pretty sure the ad is for the little boy, not the hand. Mail order children were all the rage back then.

I'm not sure even now we have large inflatible monster hand technology. I know this, because I don't have one.

This seems like one of those toys that should be evergreen and still available today like hula hoops and pool noodles...

It would be so cool to find one of these inflatable hands and use it in conjunction with the AJ suit at the next Mego Meet
                        It's all good!

Too bad that 'Write for our 1971 catalog' wasn't an employment ad.
