Hey, they do still make the refills for these. I'm pretty sure they originally came in different widths but the only ones I found are 3/8" wide and come in a bunch of colors & clear. You get 3 rolls at about 10 ft per roll for about $8. Don't know if you can still get in stores; this was on Dymo's website.

I had a generic one, too, but always wanted a dog one. I had all sorts of "designer" tapes: wood grain, dark blue with purple dots, red with blue stripes, the works!
      It's all good!

        1) I still remember my cousing Joey going crazy labelling everything under the sun with his label maker

        2) I still have my first Pizza Hut nametag which was made with a label maker. I may also have one I made while goofing around one day, "James T. Kirk". Customers were calling me "Jim" all day. Sad but true

        3) NEVER, EVER re-gift a label maker

Yep, you can still find Dymo guns in stores. Most office supply stores should carry Dymo. I know for a fact that even Walmart sells them.....and refills. I bought one there (I think it is a 3M brand gun) a few years ago.

I bought a nice Dymo gun a couple weeks ago at a local resale shop for $1......and need to go get some refills for it

I never have seen the vintage animal/kiddy models before though...too cool

Report from Walmart last night....they do in fact still sell Dymo guns, and a wide variety of refills. I saw some 1/2" refills in a bunch of various colors. There were also some 3M brand refills available too.......
