Always seemed weird to me to carpet the bathroom but it always kept your feet warm.
I guess carpeting the floor was less weird than dressing up your toilet with the matching rug covers, though.

my aunt and uncle still have shag carpet in their bathroom ... and it's always squishy by the toilet ... makes me wonder if they peed or if the toilet leaks but forsure I always wear shoes when I use their bathroom

I friend of mine his dad owned a massive house in my town about 200 year old it was massive , he was a local hypnotist in the (80s) and did lots of other stuff to get famous lol but never did hahahah there house had carpets in the bathroom and glass on top of the work tops and around the sink with the carpet underneath
the smell of dampness was vile and it smelt of Pee as well

I wann do the floors AND walls in this stuff. That way every last drop of moisture and whiff of odor can be captured and fester in the bathroom.
