I know these aren't technically toys, but this seemed like the forum to post about these.. anyone collect 'em? I've been toying with the idea of picking up a couple on ebay..

Was there an Aquaman one? You said you got the ad from the shrine. If there were a Captain Marvel one, I'd be on the lookout for it.

Even tho Aquaman and Capt Marvel are show on the packaging (which is why the Shrine noted it, plus the ad appeared in an Aquaman comic), they don't seem to have produced actual watches for either, which is too bad.

Me too. I'd have to get a new band, as it's a kid's watch, but...

I had the box for years. My mom kept it. It was so cool. I don't know what finally happened to it...

I have all 6 of these watches (adult sizes). All have packaging and all are in great shape. The Spiderman has almost dead mint packaging. Almost no wear and virtually no fading. The Hulk packaging is pretty close condition. The Joker watch has great packaging and the actual white label that identifies it as an original Joker box. Many resellers don't have the original boxes, so they just slap the watch in a box that they have (probably a Superman since he was the most common). The Joker was the rarest of all, and finding an original box is very difficult. My Batman is in very good condition, but the Superman and Wonder Woman are worn. I am always looking to upgrade the packaging for those. I don't know what happened to the Aquaman and Captain Marvel watches. Wish they would have been made. I'm pretty sure that they were only sold with the dark blue leather band with yellow stitching (Joker had a black band). Any that have a red band, or one that looks "plasticy" is likely not original. I have also seen sellers trying to sell pocket watch versions as original, which they aren't. These are really cool watches and display very nicely. I do prefer the Marvel versions because they have unique packaging for each Character. DC got lazy and just made one package to be shared by all 4 of their watches.
